You’re about to discover how to live the life you have always wanted.
It does not matter what page you are trying to turn in your life: getting into college, changing careers, getting your first career, or even starting a new relationship, knowing your strengths and weaknesses, how to use them, and how to take weaknesses and turn them into strengths will help you a great deal in creating success. Take the time to assess yourself before the beginning of any new milestone even in your life. Knowing your own strengths and weaknesses, and of course, the interests and skills that drive them, is even more important to transitioning from one stage to another. Before you move on, you might want to think about who you really are and what kind of person you want to be.
Through your own assessment, you not only give yourself a chance to think about what you would enjoy, but you solidify your understanding of your skills, aptitudes, values, preferences, and why any employer/counselor/person would want you out of the large group of people available to him or her.
