BOOK ONE: Out of the end of the world as we know it, comes the beginning of the world we dreamed of and prayed for.
In a small Iowa town, survivors of unprecedented global war and natural disasters set out to rebuild their lives. So much of what has happened in recent weeks defies explanation for the remnant of the resistance to the last Dictator, survivors of the last human war.
Out of tribulation and loss, they stumble into a fresh breeze of hope that seems too good to be true. Yet, peace has fallen all around the world, and the new ruler in Jerusalem enforces that peace through an odd assortment of people spread over the Earth. Even the weather and wildlife have been transformed for the comfort of the remaining people.
Could this be what the Christians looked forward to for millennia, the Kingdom of God come to Earth, the Reign of Jesus Christ?
Even in the face of gracious prosperity, for the world and its inhabitants, the seeds have been planted for one last human revolt against God.

Understanding and abiding in “the fear of the Lord,” is an essential kingdom concept of hating and fleeing from evil (the darkness), Proverbs 8:13, and is beneficial for both the believer and the unbeliever alike.
This book walks you through the scriptures of this concept that we all need to abide by, for even Jesus, our Lord and Savior in His earthly ministry operated under the concept of “the fear of the Lord,” Isaiah 11:1-3.
The book first defines the phrase, pointing out what the scriptures say and don’t say. It then treads on some of the common but wrong teachings that has lead the church from placing an importance on hating evil and fleeing from evil.
Equivalent New Testament concerns are then addressed as well as looking into kingdom issues along with the truth that God is the only Lawgiver.
Then to give this teaching a practical application, of how we can position ourselves to abide in “the fear of the Lord.” We take a look at how scripture defines what evil is. This nicely all comes together and gives further insight and understanding on how we can make it happen and began to walk in “the fear of the Lord.”
